This is the official virtual space for the exchange of information and communications of dates and deliberations regarding the TERRA Collective ("terra" means "earth/soil"). The TERRA Collective is an organic agriculture collective that is starting to work on a borrowed piece of land 20 km away from Porto Alegre (southern state's capital in Brazil). The individuals that take part in the collective come from different backgrounds (agriculture engineers, administrators, artists, philosophers, yoga instructors, psychologists, etc) and the collective is structured in a horizontal consensus-based decision-making process. While in the process of working in the land we will document the process thus making it open and replicable. The diffusion of this work will be spread online in a blog/site but we also think some printed DIY zine may be released.
