Virtual South Slavic Literature Library (SSLL, http://library.borut.eu/) provides links to on-line accessible South Slavic literature. The Library is an attempt of using modern information technologies in order to enable its editors - which are distributed globaly and mostly originate from the area of ex-Yugoslavia - to control the library content in an effective and secure manner. Technologically, the Library is based on free Wiki content publishing system - DokuWiki (http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:dokuwiki). The task of this list is to educate, support and coordinate the editors (most of which have humanistic and not engineering background) in using the DokuWiki in their library editing process. In this respect this is a closed list, opened for reading and writing only to editors of SSLL. (Subscription: Closed; Closed-post: True; Moderated: False) [A note to FreeLists reviewers: I selected "Open discussion" as a list type since I do not see the possibility of specifying the exact combination of properties described above.]

mailing list for the Tangible Feelings workshops. http://tangible-feelings.wikispaces.com/ Tangible Feelings Workshops is a series of international events devoted to fostering a discussion around BCI and EEG technologies ( new generation brain-computer interfaces, like IBVA , Emotiv , Neurosky ) and their aesthetic implications in the field of contemporary digital arts. The workshops, taught by artists and researchers Mattia Casalegno, and Enzo Varriale, offer both skill-based learning and theoretical discussion about the impact of BCI technology in the worlds of art and science. The first workshop was held at iMal in Brussels as part of the Tangible Feelings festival, a 3-days event comprising also a symposium and an exhibition that brought together artists, scientists, researchers and experts in EEG and BCI technologies. The second appointment was held in Taipei in January 2012. Organized by the Transjourney Future Media festival and hosted by the Digital Art CenterTaipei, this 3-days workshop was focused on creating audiovisual and interactive applications with the Neurosky technology and the max/msp/jitter , Processing and Arduino programming environments.

A mail contact list for a new Poetry Festival run as a Not For Profit operation. You can see more basic info on the SDPF on our facebook site. I am a long tern OS user and want to use a friendly list maintenance service to keep in touch with our contacts and collaborators. I really dont want to have to use mailchimp (again)! We will be telling people about paid for events via this list, but we really don't have any money and don't expect to make any. We are in any case a charity. No one gets paid here (me especially) - though we do pay for venue hire and visiting poets expenses. I realise you have a science and tech bias but, hey, a small touch of culture can't hurt none can it? Tim
