Bondy Blog is an online media created in November 2005 by Serge Michel, now reporter at Le Monde, during the urban riots in Paris suburbs. Since then, the blog became a symbol of participati ve journalism. Bondy Blog is a platform of exchange where urban matters, discrimination issues and diversity are discussed. Mohamed Hamidi, film and stage director, is the current president of the organization. Bondy Blog employs five full time professionals. Three journalists (Director, Chief Editor and Assis tant Chief Editor), a head journalist, an administrative officer and an IT manager. All of them manage and support a team of around fifty young bloggers.
